Event Agenda
The L.E.G.A.L. Intelligence Symposium will provide an executive-level examination of what the L.E.G.A.L. findings mean for the legal market and the client-provider relationship. It is intended primarily for senior executive leaders responsible for firm strategy, economics, and major client relationships, including managing partners, chairs, CEOs, executive and management committee members, practice leaders, and senior strategy, innovation, pricing, and client leaders.
The discussion will move beyond the headline findings to explore:
- Where client and provider expectations align, and where they do not
- How increasingly sophisticated client use of GenAI is changing expectations of outside counsel
- How expanding in-house capabilities may affect the allocation of legal work
- What clients expect from AI-enabled efficiency and how those expectations may affect pricing and sourcing
- Where law firms believe client expectations are premature, contradictory, or economically unsustainable
- How firms and clients are thinking differently about investment, risk, and responsibility for change
- Which developments represent meaningful commercial signals and which remain largely noise
- What each side needs to understand about the other as the market evolves
- Practical lessons accumulated by legal teams that have moved beyond isolated experimentation
The format will combine a presentation of the L.E.G.A.L. findings, client perspectives, structured debate, audience discussion, and informal conversation.
